As of Friday afternoon, the National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory with gale-force winds in effect from Saturday morning through Saturday afternoon. High wind gusts from 30 to 45 mph are expected.

Wind gusts over 30 mph create unsafe conditions for our tram service to operate. Gusty winds can create hazardous conditions where unsecured objects can blow around, produce falling debris, or could result in a few power outages. Therefore, beach services, tram service and restaurants will be shut down all day on Saturday, March 12.

We expect to resume normal operations on Sunday, March 13.

Please note that while Beach Fitness classes are also suspended, participants can take advantage of the 10 a.m. Zumba Gold class at the Community Center.

Please continue to monitor the Foundation website, e-newsletters, the mobile app, and the digital reader boards for updates and stay safe! Please use extra caution when driving and secure outdoor objects.
