As an internationally acclaimed arts and culture destination, the Naples area attracts talented performing artists in all manner of genres. Just 20 minutes outside of Pelican Bay, in Bonita Springs, Florida, the Southwest Florida Performing Arts Center offers a 650-seat theatre, a state-of-the art culinary test kitchen, and a broadcast center. ATTRACTIONS

For nature lovers, it’s no question why Naples and the surrounding areas are called the Paradise Coast. Home to scores of nature preserves, wildlife sanctuaries, horse stables, fisheries and fishing charters, ecotours and more, it’s easy to get back to nature here. Clam Pass, just a tram ride away, features more than six miles of tidal ponds and creeks meandering through protected mangroves and teeming with wildlife.

Or, outside of Pelican Bay, try the Florida Panther National Wildlife Refuge or the Shy Wolf Sanctuary.

Of course, there’s no shortage of more traditional – and can’t-miss – attractions in the area, such as the Naples Zoo, Naples Pier, Naples Botanical Gardens, Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples, waterparks, some of the world’s best golf courses – including The Club at Pelican Bay – and even a clay shooting course.

Pelican Bay’s on-site Waterside Shops is the Gulf Coast’s premier luxury shopping and dining destination. While members can find everything they need right here in Pelican Bay, Naples is famous for its shopping – and many retail excursions start at Naples’ storied 5th Avenue South shopping district. Known for timeless charm and downtown chic, dozens of boutiques, restaurants, art galleries and more line the walkable Avenue.

For a more historical setting, visit Third Street South, the birthplace of Old Naples and a romantic, chic shopping district set among original structures and featuring businesses in place for generations.
