By the Member Policies and Relations Committee

The Pelican Bay Foundation Member Policies and Relations (MP&R) Committee is seeking member volunteers to help us with the production of an illustrated Pelican Bay History book. Maybe you, or someone you know is an author, graphic designer, publisher, or historian who would be willing to help capture the history of the magical three square miles known as Pelican Bay.

We need your help in a number of areas:

  • Historians are asked to share pictures, news clippings, or any other artifacts and memories you may have.
  • The author will write about Pelican Bay’s beginnings starting in 1972 through the present day, encapsulating the uniqueness and special amenities of this beautiful community.
  • Graphic Designers are needed to help with the book’s layout and cover design using pictures from developers, residents, staff, county, and other sources.
  • Publishers are welcome too! We welcome your contacts in the publishing industry who might be willing to point us in the right direction regarding electronic and paper publishing.
