Beginner/Intermediate Watercolor Painting – Session 1
With Betty Wilson
Tap into many different aspects of creativity, from color theory to technique, to practical exercises. Art can transform your life. “Learning and doing” cultivate creativity. Even if you’re not an artist, you will be surprised at what you can accomplish. Don’t be taken in by the myth that only a chosen few are truly creative; you were born to create.
Betty has over twenty years of experience. Her motto is “You Can Do It”. She takes the “hands-on” approach with her students and has them putting paint to paper during the first 30 minutes of the first class. Her teaching method is structured and is sometimes referred to as the “paint along” method. The lessons are separated into parts; she demonstrates a part, and then the students paint that step on their paintings. Twice each month you will finish a 9”x12” painting in class and once a month a 20”x16” painting in class.
Each monthly Session is $135 and each class is 3 hours long, total 9 hours
Class size is limited. A supply list is available when registering and the supplies are to be purchased and brought to class. Storage for your supplies is not available, but is available for your wet works-in-progress.
