Pilates I & II – Amy
The Pilates 1 class introduces and incorporates the basic principles of Pilates including breathing, core
stabilization and balance work. The movements will range between beginner and intermediate exercises with
emphasis on body awareness, matching breath to movement, and moving through the core.
The Pilates II class will continue to emphasize the basic principles of Pilates while introducing more
advanced movements. The focus will be on creating precision and flow of movement as well as increasing range of motion.
