In response to the Governor’s order on 14-day mandatory quarantining of all visitors from NY, NJ, or CT, effective immediately, the Foundation has suspended issuing, or processing, of guest cards. Since there is no way for the Foundation to determine previous travel routes or locations, this suspension will cover all guest cards.  This means that no new guest cards will be issued until further notice. For those who have pre-purchased guest cards for the period after Monday, March 23, refunds will be issued.  For those who have already been issued guest cards, since they pre-date the Governor’s order, they may continue to use them.

As a reminder for tennis players, the courts will remain open at this time. All players are expected to use the 6 foot and over social distancing guideline while participating in any activity. Both tennis pro shops are closed. Restrooms are closed at North Tennis. South Tennis restrooms will remain open.

As a reminder, this week’s Board meeting and related committee meetings have been canceled, except for the Elections Committee meeting which will be held virtually. Results of the Foundation Board of Directors election, which is now concluded, will be announced on Wednesday, March 25 in “Today in the Bay.” The Annual Member Meeting will be conducted virtually. Please look at Wednesday’s “Today in the Bay” for detailed information.

As always, we will continue to apprise the community of any further developments which align with governmental directives.
