The Pelican Bay Property Owners Association (PBPOA) is encouraging residents to help do something about red tide and blue/green algae by signing a petition urging our elected state government officials to pass legislation and fund identified measures to reduce harmful algal blooms and the spread of red tide.

If you would like to learn more about the issue – please read the attached backgrounder authored by Collier Citizens Council President David Trecker. You can also watch Summit Broadband Channel 102 showing continuous playback of the Collier County Red Tide Forum where scientists, researchers, and government agencies share their insights and expertise.

Please take a minute right now to sign the petition. Clean water is essential to the future of Southwest Florida, our property values, and our personal health.

Please click the link below to sign the petition electronically – or stop by the front desk at The Commons or The Community Center to sign the paper petition.
