The Pelican Bay Foundation has been closely monitoring weather conditions produced by Tropical Storm Eta.  The Foundation has made the determination to reopen all facilities and resume operations as of tomorrow, Tuesday, November 10, 2020.

Tropical Storm Eta is forecast to move southwest later today and overnight. While Eta is no longer forecast to become a hurricane in the Gulf, it is expected to strengthen by Tuesday.  While in the Gulf, there will be scattered downpours through Thursday.  The highest wind gusts have dissipated in southwest Florida. However, it is important to be concerned by wave heights and rip currents along the coastline throughout the week.

We will continue to monitor the path of Tropical Storm Eta and will keep the community apprised of any new developments that affect operations this week.  Please stay tuned to future e-blasts and www.pelicanbay.org.
