The holidays (and also Spring Break) are typical times when dependent cards expire. Here are some tips to think about and prepare before you visit the Commons to renew a dependent card:
The Member Services Desk is found directly ahead when you enter the front door at the Commons.
The Member Services Desk is not open on weekends or holidays, so plan to visit Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
To renew dependent cards, dependents 18 years of age and up must have a government-issued photo ID matching the owner’s/parent’s address. The matching address can be either the Pelican Bay address or northern address on file.
Please note that supporting documentation for dependents must be a government-issued ID and not mail correspondence. Otherwise, members may order a guest card for their adult children.
If the dependent is over 26 years old, they can no longer qualify for dependent member cards. A guest card can still be purchase for them up to 30 days.
