The Elections Committee would like to thank the membership for their support and participation in the 2019-2020 Board of Directors election process and declaration amendment campaign. There were many involved in the active promotion of this community-wide initiative including Board and committee members, President’s Council, Foundation staff and members who took the time to vote online or fill out a proxy in person or by mail.

Election and declaration amendment proxy results include 2,523 ballots received for the Board of Directors election and 4,108 votes cast with 4,011 votes in favor of the declaration amendment.

Members are encouraged to sign up to go paperless in next year’s election by visiting www.pelicanbay.org/paperless. This allows the Foundation to send an election ballot/proxy information via email, so you don’t have to worry about where your ballot is mailed. If you continue to opt for mailed ballots, please ensure that your mailing address is up to date by emailing Brent Edwards in Member Services at bedwards@pelicanbay.org.
