The Pelican Bay Foundation has been closely monitoring weather conditions produced by Tropical Storm Elsa.  With the projected models from the National Weather Service and other local resources, the Pelican Bay Foundation has made the determination to reopen all facilities and resume operations as of tomorrow, Wednesday, July 7, 2021.
Currently, the National Weather Service has issued a Flood Advisory for Collier County this afternoon with small stream flooding caused by heavy rain of up to 2.5 inches. Additional rainfall is on the way as an outer band from Tropical Storm Elsa moves over the area.  Do not drive through flooded roadways that you cannot see the painted lines on the road. Don’t drown, turn around.
We will continue to monitor the path of Tropical Storm Elsa and will keep the community apprised of any new developments that affect operations this week.
Please continue to stay tuned to future e-blasts and www.pelicanbay.org for updated information on severe weather affecting Pelican Bay.
