This message affects only a portion of customers served on Pelican Bay Blvd. including – Valencia, Interlachen, St. Kitts, Cap Ferrat, St. Marissa, St. Vincents, and The Cannes
On Tuesday, September 27th from 9:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 28th, a portion of residents on Pelican Bay Blvd. including – Valencia, Interlachen, St. Kitts, Cap Ferrat, St. Marissa, St. Vincents, and The Cannes, will be without potable water. This is to allow for the replacement of inoperable valves and a hydrant in the area.
When water service is restored, the Collier County Water Division recommends that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes should be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient.
This Notice will remain in effect until acceptable bacteriological testing has been completed, which will be within 24 to 48 hours.
